Adolescents reproductive health through skill building at Rangpuri Pahari

Project area:

Rangpuri Pahari, (near Vasant Kunj) is a big area consisting of 6 slum clusters  comprising of more than 2500 juggies (temporary huts) which provides shelter  to above fifteen thousand slum dwellers and migrant population residents.

Target Group:

  1. Slum dwellers and migrant population in surrounding areas of Rangpuri Pahari.

  2. Adolescent girls/women and boys

  3. Pregnant women and eligible couples

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT :

  1. To form SHGs of adolescent girls/women comprising of 25 members each. 

  2. Impart education to all the adolescent members of SHGs related to Family Life Education (FLE).

  3. To provide information and education to eligible couples related to RCH and motivate them to have small families and advocate different contraceptive measures

  4. Advocacy & Networking with PHCs and other health agencies for contraceptives, immunization and also to route their resources/services through self help groups,
